Nolan Helmets

Nolan prides their selves as being one of the safest helmets on the road. They put it at the forefront of every one of their helmet designs, and this is why they have become one of the best. Being one of the safest doesn't mean they lack aesthetically, though. Nolan began in 1972 with the idea of producing motorcycle helmets that would be more comfortable to wear, lighter in weight, but more affordable than the rest. The special material that made them become popular very fast is called Lexan, which came from a company in the United States. Lander Nocchi, who founded Nolan, purchased this material to produce some of the first helmets out of, and the rest is history. He created one of the first poly-carbonate helmets, and 37 years later they are still at the top of the game.
