The JD2226 has a soft nylon moisture wicking lining, a non-removable polyurethane padded insole, a reinforced tempered steel shank, a high abrasion flexible lightweight polyurethane outsole that is slip resistant. It also features what John Deere calls a stirrup stabilizer for riding horse back.

I just got my boots today and they are perfect. So comfortable right out of the box - I have bad hips, feet and knees -- and true to size. I actually went out dancing tonight for the first time in forever and my feet feel great (and I boogied hard!). I love that these are light and easy to get on once you wiggle into them once or twice. I love the color and they're just adorable. I am extremely happy with my purchase and with the quick delivery.
